Big Oil to Zoro

I was working in the Oil and Gas industry as a Analyst. I had been at this industry for about 12 years.

During the pandemic, I realized I wanted to go into the tech field.My husband and a friend had both taken bootcamps that helped them make a seamless transition into the tech industry as software developers. So I took some classes in python and fell in love with it. It was at this point that I decided to make a change in my career.

After extensive research, I landed on Coding Temple. Coding Temple had great reviews and worked great with my schedule. In addition, I called Coding Temple before enrolling and they were able to answer all of my questions.

The most challenging part of the program for me was time management. I made sure to not fall behind and turned homework in on time.

I learned how to build full stack applications.

The material provided and recorded videos were very helpful throughout the program. I love the fact that I have access to all this even after graduating.

Coding Temple has a great career coach that helped me update my resume and LinkedIn in such a way that allowed the job search process to be easy and seamless.

I am now a software engineer and could not have done it without the skillsets I obtained at Coding temple. I am happy and excited that I was able to make this industry change. My future goals are to continue expanding my knowledge in this new profession.

I learned a lot more than I anticipated. I gained so much knowledge and expertise in such a short time. So very grateful for that.

Take it one day at a time and know that you may not understand everything at the moment. Do not give up!!
